How we work

Clear steps, written quotations before any work, and a tested, documented result. Here’s what to expect, and what helps us move faster.

Three ways to work with us

Choose the route that gets you running soonest.

At our workshop

For modules, boards and equipment that can be moved.

  • Pack electronics in anti-static bags inside a rigid, well-cushioned box.
  • Include a sheet with the fault, nameplate details and a contact name.
  • You send it by courier or hand delivery; for heavy equipment, ask us about collection.
  • We record the unit’s condition when it arrives, before any work starts.
How to send a unit for repair

At your site

For installation, commissioning, large equipment and maintenance visits.

  • We agree the date, working hours and the equipment involved beforehand.
  • Tell us about access, permits, safety induction and escorts for restricted areas.
  • Arrange isolation and lockout of the equipment as your site procedures require.
  • You get a field service report before we leave or shortly after.

Remotely

For deciding the fastest route, and for simple faults.

  • Photos of the nameplate, error codes and the display.
  • A short video of the fault if it’s intermittent or noisy.
  • Recent events: power cuts, storms, modifications, water.
  • We advise guidance, a visit or a workshop repair, whichever is fastest.

The repair process

Six steps, from the first call to a tested result.

  1. Tell us the fault

Form, phone or email: make, model, serial number, what happened, and photos.

  2. Inspection and diagnosis

We inspect and test to find the cause, and record the condition on receipt.

  3. Quotation and approval

Work, parts, turnaround and warranty in writing. If repair isn’t economical, we say so.

  4. Repair

Component-level repair with suitable or equivalent parts, under ESD-safe handling.

  5. Testing

Functional and, where appropriate, load testing, recorded in a test report.

  6. Return

Delivered with the test report, warranty certificate and invoice.

Warranty

Every repair is warranted in writing.

Every repair carries a written warranty. The period is stated on your quotation. The warranty covers the work we did and the parts we fitted. It doesn’t cover misuse, physical damage, power surges, or work done on the unit by others.

Confidentiality and your property

Your equipment, your information, handled with care.

Equipment and documents are handled only by the people working on them and stored securely. We respect customer markings and documentation, sign NDAs on request, and follow your security instructions. We never photograph or share equipment details without permission.

Paperwork

Documents you can expect.

Clear records for your stores, accounts and audit trail, prepared the way your procedures expect.

  • Quotation
  • Inward receipt for equipment received
  • Inspection and fault report
  • Test report
  • Warranty certificate
  • Delivery challan
  • GST invoice
  • Visit reports for maintenance contracts

Questions

About working with us.

Will you start work without telling me the cost?

No. After inspection you receive a written quotation with the work, parts, turnaround and warranty. Nothing is repaired until you approve it.

Is there a charge for inspection?

It depends on the equipment and the testing involved. If there is one, we tell you before the unit is sent, and it is stated on our paperwork.

What happens if you can’t repair it?

We tell you, explain why, and return the unit. If a replacement or a custom-built substitute is possible, we can quote for that instead.

Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement?

Yes, on request. We also follow any security instructions you give us for your equipment and documents.

Got a unit that’s down?

Tell us the make, model and fault, and we’ll reply within one working day with questions or next steps.
