Equipment repair and maintenance
Radar and communication equipment, generators, drives, breakers, PLCs, PCBs and cable harnesses.
Learn morePrecision repair for the parts your process depends on.
Board-level repair of servo drives, encoders, I/O modules, HMIs, power supplies and the parts your line can’t run without.
When a drive, encoder or I/O module fails, a whole line can stop. Buying a new unit is often slow, expensive, or impossible if the model is no longer made. Board-level repair is frequently the faster and cheaper route, and it keeps the equipment you already know and trust in service.
We diagnose the failed module, repair or replace the faulty components, and test it on the bench before it goes back to you. If a unit can’t be repaired economically, we tell you plainly and return it, so you can make the call with the facts.
What to send: the unit, a description of the fault, photos of the nameplate, and whether it failed suddenly or gradually. The more we know about how it failed, the faster we find the cause.
What we work on
Not listed? Ask. If it’s within our skills and we can test it properly, we’ll take it on, and tell you honestly if we can’t.
How we deliver it
Send or bring the unit. We inspect it, tell you what’s wrong and what it will take, repair it, test it and return it with a report.
Describe the fault, share photos or join a video call, and we’ll help you choose the fastest route: guidance, a visit or a workshop repair.
Process
Use the form, call or email: make, model, serial number, what happened, and photos if you have them.
We inspect and test the unit to find the cause, and record its condition when it arrives.
A written quotation with the work, parts, turnaround and warranty. Nothing starts without your approval.
Component-level repair with suitable parts, under ESD-safe handling for electronics.
Functional and, where appropriate, load testing, recorded in a test report.
Back to you with the test report, warranty and invoice.
What you get
Every repair carries a written warranty. The period is stated on your quotation.
Questions
The unit itself, a short description of the fault (what happens, any error codes, whether it failed suddenly or gradually), photos of the nameplate, and your contact details. If the unit came out of a larger system, tell us what it connects to. Our article on sending a unit for repair has a full checklist.
Often, yes. Obsolete and long-lead imported modules are where component-level repair helps most, because a new unit may not exist. We repair or replace the failed components on the board and test the module before returning it.
Usually not. We need the failed module, and sometimes its cables or a description of its connections. If the fault only shows up in the machine, we may suggest an on-site visit or remote diagnosis first.
It depends on the fault and on parts. The quotation states the turnaround for your unit. If it’s a breakdown, tell us when you send it and we’ll say honestly what’s possible.
Yes, every unit is bench-tested after repair, and the test report comes back with it. Some faults only show under real load in the machine, so we also tell you what to check when you refit it.
